  • What do you think makes working at SF so enjoyable?

    The company's entrepreneurial and versatile character. There's a lot to learn within the group because, as a whole, you serve different target groups through various channels (international, retail, food service) with different products (from egg salad to cheese sticks, from hummus to olives). Each business unit has its own specialized knowledge, creating valuable synergies. Take, for example, the Johma Flamed Salad or the deviled eggs for the appetizer platter. Here, the tapas business unit leveraged Johma's expertise in deviled eggs. Furthermore, each business unit/brand is at a different stage of the business lifecycle, which leads to interesting challenges where the group can support each other. You're like a family, where all the business units have their own character, but share the same SF DNA.

    Is there an achievement within SF that you're most proud of?

    Organizing the first Tapas Congress. A day where the business unit's strategy and mission were presented, and we strengthened team spirit with all employees through team-building activities and a closing BBQ. Everyone – from the office to the production department – was enthusiastic about the setup. Of course, not everything went as planned, but it's even more rewarding when it's successful!

    What do you value most about your work environment?

    If you want something, it can be arranged. We're very flexible as a company because we consist of so many different "mini-companies." Initiative is rewarded, and you can tell.
